WIN Socials
We developed WIN Social networking opportunities for Members that are just that, social. We know that in order to feel comfortable referring a fellow Member, we have to get to… KNOW THEM, LIKE THEM and TRUST THEM. What better way to do that than to have a meaningful conversation with them.
Our WIN Socials are held outside of the regular monthly meeting schedule. We recommend one social event per quarter, if not more.
WIN Social Ideas
Shopping Opportunity—If you have Members that sell products, consider a shopping opportunity around the holidays or in the spring near Mother’s Day. Allow Members to invite guests.
Pampering Event—Get a few vendors together (hopefully WIN members from your Chapter or another) and pamper yourself! Get a chair massage, pedicure, manicure, facial, new “look”, fashion show, etc. Get creative!
Happy Hour—Here’s an easy one! Just set a date, time and place and meet in a bar or restaurant for Happy Hour!
Housewarming Party or Open House—Invite Members to socialize at your business or home. Have a few snacks and beverages, maybe include some sort of “get to know you” game like at baby showers.
Girls Weekend—Here’s a fun one! Plan an overnight stay or weekend getaway. Pick something within 1-2 hours drive and just have fun! Eat out, relax by the pool, and take in the sights!

Hosting a WIN Social (quarterly)
WIN Socials can be arranged by anyone within the Chapter. Just remember to “Keep it Simple”!
1. Pick a location for an evening event
2. Coordinate with the Chapter Administrator to sent out evites
3. Arrange for food or pick a place where everyone can order/pay themselves
4. Bring name tags
5. Conduct an “ice breaker” activity that allows members to get to know one another better
6. Have other “get-to-know-ya” ideas for the evening
7. Remember to Keep it Simple!!
Door Prize Ideas
WIN a Prize! At Women In Networking meetings, we go out with a “bang”!
We end our meetings with a small door prize drawing with the prize being donated by the monthly host. Fun ideas include:
- Product Samples
- Your Promotional Products
- Package of Note Cards
- Bottle of Wine
- Recent Best Seller Book
- Marketing or Sales Book
- Create a small gift basket with product samples
- Product or Service Gift Certificate
- Fancy Pen
- Mug, cooler, beach blanket
- Candle
